Job summary

ABC Supply is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to support roofing, siding, and window projects in Scranton, PA. You will determine customers’ needs, recommend products, and process sales orders by phone.

This role emphasizes courteous service, accurate order entry, timely deliveries, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment; prior roof/siding knowledge is preferred, with 1–2 years’ experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in roofing, siding, and windows preferred (roofing supply sales or site work with a crew)

Responsibilities

• Determine customers’ needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions
• Follow a product/supply checklist for each customer’s job and up-sell additional products and supplies
• Answer telephones and enter sales orders
• Accept payment and apply it to the appropriate customer account
• Coordinate customer pick ups with the warehouse
• Follow up on deliveries to ensure materials arrived on time with all items accounted for
• Reorder products to keep shelves stocked
• Address and resolve service concerns as they arise
