Job summary

ABC Supply in Stillwater, OK is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to help customers select the right roofing, siding and window products and to assist with orders and transactions.

You will determine customer needs, follow a product checklist, answer phones, process payments, coordinate pickups, monitor deliveries, and keep shelves stocked. Preferred candidates have 1–2 years in roofing-related sales and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' experience in roofing, siding, and windows is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective time management and prioritization skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Positive attitude and team player.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine customers' needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
• Follow a product/supply checklist for each customer’s job and upsell additional products.
• Answer telephones and enter sales orders.
• Accept payment and apply it to the appropriate customer account.
• Coordinate customer pick ups with the warehouse.
• Follow up on deliveries to ensure materials arrive on time and complete.
• Reorder products to keep shelves stocked.
• Address and resolve service concerns as they arise.

Specific duties may include:

• Determining customers' needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions
• Following a product/supply checklist for each customer's job and up-selling additional products and supplies
• Answering telephones and entering sales orders
• Accepting payment and applying it to the appropriate customer account
• Coordinating customer pick ups with the warehouse
• Following up on deliveries to ensure materials arrived on time with all items accounted for
• Reordering products to keep the store and warehouse shelves well stocked
• Addressing and resolving service concerns, should they arise

Specific qualifications include:

• 1-2 years' experience in roofing, siding, and windows is preferred (roofing supply sales or site work with a crew)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective time management and prioritization skills
• Basic computer skills
• Positive attitude and team player
• Detail and service-oriented
• Bilingual speaking in Spanish/English is prefer red
