Job summary

ABC Supply in Quincy, MA is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to help customers select roofing, siding, and window products and to process orders.

You will answer calls, enter orders, coordinate pickups, and follow deliveries to ensure on-time arrival. A positive attitude and team spirit are essential.

1–2 years in roofing or related sales is preferred; strong communication and basic computer skills are required.

Specific duties may include:

• Determining customers' needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions
• Following a product/supply checklist for each customer's job and up-selling additional products and supplies
• Answering telephones and entering sales orders
• Accepting payment and applying it to the appropriate customer account
• Coordinating customer pick ups with the warehouse
• Following up on deliveries to ensure materials arrived on time with all items accounted for
• Reordering products to keep the store and warehouse shelves well stocked
• Addressing and resolving service concerns, should they arise

Specific qualifications include:

• 1-2 years' experience in roofing, siding, and windows is preferred (roofing supply sales or site work with a crew)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective time management and prioritization skills
• Basic computer skills
• Positive attitude and team player
• Detail and service-oriented

Pay Rate Information

$20-21/hr. Based on experience & qualifications.
