Job summary

ABC Supply Co. Inc. is a wholesale distributor of exterior and interior building products. Inside Sales Associates provide unparalleled service as they help customers purchase the products they need to complete roofing, building, and remodeling projects.

They handle calls, process orders, accept payments, coordinate pickups with the warehouse, and track deliveries to ensure on-time arrivals while keeping shelves stocked. ABC Supply values world-class service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Excel is required.
• 1-2 years’ experience in roofing, siding, and windows preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective time management and prioritization skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Positive attitude and team player.
• Detail and service-oriented.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine customers’ needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
• Follow a product/supply checklist for each customer’s job and up-sell additional products and supplies.
• Answering telephones and entering sales orders.
• Accepting payment and applying it to the appropriate customer account.
• Coordinating customer pick ups with the warehouse.
• Following up on deliveries to ensure materials arrived on time with all items accounted for.
• Reordering products to keep the store and warehouse shelves well stocked.
• Addressing and resolving service concerns, should they arise.
