Job summary

ABC Supply Co. Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to assist customers with roofing, siding, and window needs and to provide exceptional service. You will help customers select products, enter orders accurately, and coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.

Qualifications

• Experience in roofing, siding and windows preferred (1–2 years).

Responsibilities

• Determine customers’ needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
• Follow product/checklist for each job and upsell additional products.
• Answer telephones and enter sales orders.
• Accept payment and apply it to the correct customer account.
• Coordinate customer pickups with the warehouse.
• Follow up on deliveries to ensure on-time arrival and proper items.
• Reorder products to keep shelves stocked.
• Address and resolve service concerns as they arise.

Specific Duties May Include

• Determining customers’ needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions
• Following a product/supply checklist for each customer’s job and up-selling additional products and supplies
• Answering telephones and entering sales orders
• Accepting payment and applying it to the appropriate customer account
• Coordinating customer pick ups with the warehouse
• Following up on deliveries to ensure materials arrived on time with all items accounted for
• Reordering products to keep the store and warehouse shelves well stocked
• Addressing and resolving service concerns, should they arise

Specific Qualifications Include

• 1-2 years' experience in roofing, siding, and windows is preferred (roofing supply sales or site work with a crew)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
