Job summary

ABC Supply Co. Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to help customers select roofing, siding, and window products and process orders accurately. The role emphasizes friendly service, product knowledge, and timely responses to customer needs.

You will answer calls, enter sales orders, coordinate pickups, and support deliveries while maintaining a high standard of customer care in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude, strong communication, and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience in roofing, siding, and windows is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail and service-oriented.
• Team player.

Responsibilities

• Determining customers’ needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions.

• Accepting payment and applying it to the appropriate customer account.
• Coordinating customer pick ups with the warehouse.

Specific duties may include:

• Determining customers’ needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions
• Following a product/supply checklist for each customer’s job and up-selling additional products and supplies
• Answering telephones and entering sales orders
• Accepting payment and applying it to the appropriate customer account
• Coordinating customer pick ups with the warehouse
• Following up on deliveries to ensure materials arrived on time with all items accounted for
• Reordering products to keep the store and warehouse shelves well stocked
• Addressing and resolving service concerns, should they arise

Specific qualifications include:

• 1-2 years’ experience in roofing, siding, and windows is preferred (roofing supply sales or site work with a crew)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective time management and prioritization skills
• Basic computer skills
• Positive attitude and team player
• Detail and service-oriented
• Bilingual speaking in Spanish/English is preferred
