Job summary

Wonder Meats Inc. in Wilmington, DE is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to train you in protein categories and the order-to-ship process, with a path to a Territory Rep in 6–12 months. You will handle orders, cross-sell, and support customers and vendors from a on-site facility.

The role emphasizes daily customer communication, order accuracy, and teamwork with Plant Manager, Operations and Sales to drive success and growth within the team.

Qualifications

• Experience with purchase orders and sales orders in ERP systems.
• Strong MS Office proficiency.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Discretion and confidentiality in handling customer data.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit customer purchase orders as sales orders into Microsoft Dynamics NAV or through Dynamics eShop.
• Cross-Sell new products to existing customers.
• Solve and investigate customer issues.
• Generate return authorizations and credit explanations at the direction of Invoice manager.
• Monitor customer shorts and communicate with customers.
• Ensure all items are invoiced with proper quantities and prices to customers.
• Assist in day-to-day operations of all order processing.
• Resolve issues for customer orders in a timely manner.
• Provide customer support via email, phone and fax when necessary.
• Work alongside Plant Manager, VP Operations, Sales, Customers and Vendors.
• Jump in and lend a hand when the time comes for projects, assignments, or general office needs.

Job Title: Inside Sales Representative | Fast-Track to Territory Rep

Location: Wilmington, DE

Schedule: Monday - Friday (Onsite, 7:00AM - 3:00PM)

Compensation: $55,000-$80,000

The Inside Sales representative position exists to train you in our different protein categories and familiarize you with the process flow from obtaining orders to shipment to ensure success when you transition to a territory rep. Hit the activity and conversion metrics we set, and you move into an assigned territory as an Outside Sales Rep in 6–12 months — already knowing the product, the accounts, and the plant. The inside work is the training ground; the job is the territory.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
