Job summary

Bishop Lifting Products, Inc. is seeking a capable Sales Support/Administrative role in Tampa, FL. The position focuses on communicating with customers, entering orders, troubleshooting issues, and handling quotes and payments.

The ideal candidate has strong customer service, MS Office skills, and at least 5 years of sales experience, preferably in an industrial setting. Equal opportunity employer; rotating Saturdays required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Source new sales growth opportunities through inbound lead follow up, proactive calls and emails.
• Record, track, and follow up on quotes/estimates.
• Assist in greeting customers and aid with recommendations of product type, quality, and quantity of merchandise.
• Compute charges for merchandise or services and handle payments.
• Assist branch in administrative functions such as recordkeeping, billing, time and attendance, accounting functions and communication with corporate departments.
• Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
• Perform other administrative tasks as required.

Job Purpose:

Assist the branch in communicating with customers, entering orders, troubleshooting issues and other various administrative duties.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Source new sales growth opportunities through inbound lead follow up, proactive calls and emails.
• Record, track, and follow up on quotes/estimates.
• Assist in greeting customers and aiding with recommendations of product type, quality, and quantity of merchandise sought for purchase.
• Compute charges for merchandise or services and handles payments in a timely and professional manner.
• Assisting in corporate inventory controls.
• Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
• Assist branch in administrative functions such as recordkeeping, billing, time and attendance, accounting functions and communication with corporate departments.
• Perform other functions as required.

• Willingness to reach out to potential or existing customers with a helpful attitude
• Must be willing to work rotating Saturdays
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, drug test, and physical if applicable
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
