Job summary

Bishop Lifting Products, Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Associate for its Eugene, Oregon branch. This hourly, full-time role involves handling inbound inquiries, processing quotes, assisting customers with product selection, and managing payments with precision.

The candidate should have strong communication skills, proficiency in MS Office, and a track record in sales within an industrial setting. Some Saturdays may be required. Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship is expected.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful).
• Strong phone etiquette and experience dialing multiple calls per day.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (At least 1 year required).
• At least 5 years of sales experience preferred (Inside or Outside), preferably in an industrial environment (manufacturing, distribution, oil & gas, etc).
• High sense of urgency in regards to deadlines.
• Self reliance, lack of supervision required in daily tasks.
• Willingness to reach out to potential or existing customers with a helpful attitude.
• Must be willing to work rotating Saturdays.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, drug test, and physical if applicable.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Source new sales growth opportunities through inbound lead follow up, proactive calls and emails.
• Record, track, and follow up on quotes/estimates.
• Assist in greeting customers and aiding with recommendations of product type, quality, and quantity of merchandise sought for purchase.
• Compute charges for merchandise or services and handles payments in a timely and professional manner.
• Assisting in corporate inventory controls.
• Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
• Assist branch in administrative functions such as recordkeeping, billing, time and attendance, accounting functions and communication with corporate departments.
• Perform other functions as required.
