Job summary

Continental Western Corporation (CWC) is a long‑standing supplier of packaging, strapping, safety, cordage and janitorial products in the U.S. Our Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative role focuses on delivering friendly, proactive service to customers and vendors by phone or in person. You will support the sales team, identify new sales opportunities, and help run a busy, collaborative office.

Qualifications

• Inside sales / Customer Service experience in a similar or related industry.
• Self-motivated with the ability to excel with minimum supervision.
• Computer experience, including working knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, Excel.
• Knowledge of Prophet 21 (preferred).
• Ability to “multi-task” in busy sales office is essential.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers and vendors on the phone and in person.
• Proactively initiate sales opportunities to existing and prospective customers.
• Provide support to our outside sales staff and work as part of a team to handle day-to-day operations of a busy sales office.

As a CWC Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for interacting with customers and vendors on the phone and in person. In a pleasant and efficient manner, you will proactively initiate sales opportunities to existing and prospective customers, provide support to our outside sales staff and work as part of a team to handle the day-to-day operations of a busy sales office.

• Inside sales / Customer Service experience in a similar or related industry
