Job summary

The Wood Agency Life in the United States is seeking an Inside Sales specialist for a 100% remote, 1099 independent-contractor role focused on life insurance. You will build a pipeline by phone and video, guide families through options, and close on policy issuance.

This position leverages exclusive lead systems and carrier options; mentorship from Ben and Andrea, the agency leaders, is provided and a state license is required or planned. Fully remote work is supported.

Qualifications

• Inside sales experience with pipeline management.
• Ability to explain life insurance products clearly to prospects.
• Comfort with remote work and independent contracting.

What you'll actually do

• Schedule and hold back-to-back appointments by phone and video
• Open with discovery, then present options across multiple carriers
• Complete the application on the call, then carry the case to policy issue
• Log every conversation and next step in the CRM as it happens
• Keep clients informed while the carrier reviews the application
• Stay sharp on product details and state insurance rules

Who this is a fit for

• Inside sales, account management, or business development experience
• Comfortable working a pipeline and following up without a manager prompting you
• Able to explain a product someone has never bought before
• A state life insurance license, or a plan to sit the exam before your first sale
• Equipped for fully remote work: computer, phone, and reliable internet
• At least 18 and legally authorized to work in the United States
