Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking an Inside Sales representative for a fully remote, 1099 independent-contractor role focused on life insurance. You will schedule calls, conduct discovery, present carrier options, and guide clients through application to policy issue.

Office-agnostic yet licensed in life insurance, you will log interactions in the CRM, follow state rules, and stay sharp on product details. Compensation is contract-based with carrier-agnostic leads.

Qualifications

• Inside sales experience with appointment setting by phone/video.
• Ability to present options across multiple carriers.
• Strong CRM logging and follow-up discipline.
• Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Inside sales teaches you to work a pipeline. This 100% remote, 1099 independent-contractor life insurance sales role puts that skill behind a product with real stakes for families who already asked for information.

What you'll actually do

• Schedule and hold back-to-back appointments by phone and video

• Stay sharp on product details and state insurance rules

Who this is a fit for

• Inside sales, account management, or business development experience
• Comfortable working a pipeline and following up without a manager prompting you
• Able to explain a product someone has never bought before
• A state life insurance license, or a plan to sit the exam before your first sale
• Equipped for fully remote work: computer, phone, and reliable internet
• At least 18 and legally authorized to work in the United States
