Job summary

Consolidated Electrical Distributors in Champaign, IL is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to maintain current customer satisfaction and drive new sales through targeted initiatives and goals. You will deliver professional service with product knowledge, problem solving, and order enhancement to customers via phone and web.

Reports to the Inside Sales Manager and collaborates with the sales team to meet monthly goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required or equivalent years’ experience in similar role.
• Two years’ industry-specific experience preferred.
• Experience with order entry and customer communications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides outstanding customer service to current and potential customers via telephone and internet.
• Writes orders accurately and in accordance with sales policies and procedures.
• Maintains current customer base and meets monthly sales goals.
• Communicates and cooperates with outside sales and other departments for Frost-related activities.
• Suggests process improvement ideas and follows up on orders, quotes, and materials.
• Keeps up-to-date on products and services to better assist customers.

The Inside Sales Representative position is responsible for maintaining current customer satisfaction with service and sales, and generate new sales/business thru sales initiatives and goals. Provide professional services with product knowledge, problem solving, and order enhancement.

Reports to: Inside Sales Manager

Working Conditions:

This job operates in a professional office environment and various warehouse locations and conditions. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies and warehouse material, up to 50 pounds.

Compensation Range:

The compensation range for this position is $45000 to $55000 annually.
