Job summary

National Trench Safety in Charleston, SC is seeking an Inside Sales Rep I to support branch sales by handling customer inquiries, generating invoices and orders, and coordinating between customers, branches, and outside sales reps.

This safety-sensitive role requires strong communication, detail orientation, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce CRM. The position is full-time and may involve after-hours calls and occasional branch operations support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Inside Sales Rep or on a sales desk, preferably in construction equipment rental.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries, orders, and complaints.
• Generate all sales documents (invoices, contracts, pick/packing lists, returns) and distribute to departments.
• Guide and elevate complaint resolution to ensure customers are properly served.
• Provide customers and branches with data and backup data as requested.
• Follow up regularly with customers, branches, and shop/yard operations on open issues.
• Report on conditions affecting customer satisfaction.
• May take after-hours calls and document complaints for resolution at some branches.
• May open and/or close operations facilities in some branches.
• Perform other duties as requested.
