Job summary

Texas Building Supply, a division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to assist with new and existing customer sales and provide product support, including quotes and dimension information, in person or by phone.

This role requires responding to inquiries, initiating calls to generate sales, entering orders, coordinating deliveries, maintaining stock, resolving billing issues, and developing strong professional relationships with customers while following safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years in building material industry preferred.
• 1-3 years of inside sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of building supplies and construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries on product selection, pricing, orders, deliveries, and installations.
• Initiate telephone calls to customers to generate sales.
• Obtain orders from customers and sales representatives; enter work orders, credit returns, return authorizations, and service requests.
• Coordinate purchase and delivery of special products and obtain pricing/specifications.
• Manage project schedules by coordinating with outside sales, jobsites, and customers.
• Maintain stock levels on sales floor and in stockroom.
• Research credits, returns, and late payments as needed.
• Check back orders and resolve outstanding issues; handle billing problems and compile closing data.
• Handle special orders and pricing; assist with pricing and price lists.
• Develop and grow professional relationships with customers.
• Resolve jobsite issues and customer problems.
