Job summary

PLP is seeking an Inside Sales Representative (Quoting) to process customer inquiries and competitive quotes, manage blanket and project quotes, and resolve pricing issues. You will track sales trends, support order processing, and collaborate with multiple departments, including during storm emergencies.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, customer relationships, and profitability through pricing strategy development and contract review.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; further business education helpful.
• 3–5 years in customer service or pricing.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Handle and analyze quotation requests and coordinate with teams to optimize pricing.
• Manage blanket quotation renewals with sales leadership.
• Ensure deadlines for project responses and blanket quote renewals are met.
• Share customer and competitive insights to inform sales strategies.
• Maintain quotes and customer interactions in the company system.
