Job summary

Mueller Water Products is seeking an Inside Sales Representative in the Chattanooga, TN area to support customers with stock checks, quotations and order tracking. You will coordinate with outside sales reps, plants and planners to ensure accurate lead times and responsive service.

The role emphasizes customer orientation, strong communication, and the ability to work in a team while handling technical questions and documentation. Overtime may be required based on demand.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service and/or inside sales experience.
• Strong experience with mainframe programs for inventory control (AS400/JD Edwards).
• Strong communications background.

Responsibilities

• Assess and address external customer needs with stock checks, expedites, and order history tracking.
• Analyze customer requirements and develop proposals to meet needs.
• Provide support to resolve customer complaints and ensure follow-up until complete.
• Act as liaison between outside sales reps/customers and plants.
• Coordinate with Planners and Manufacturing to convey lead times.
