Job summary

Mueller Water Products, Inc. in Chattanooga, Tennessee, seeks a Senior Product Manager for the Service Brass portfolio. You will oversee the product lifecycle from ideation to end-of-life to meet customer needs and business goals.

Lead cross-functional teams with R&D, engineering, operations and marketing. Develop roadmaps, pricing, GTM plans and drive profitability; travel up to 35% as required. This exempt role demands strategic thinking, strong communication, and a track record launching

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Business, Marketing).
8+ years of experience in product management, with focus on manufactured physical products.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
Understanding of quality and manufacturing where hardware is involved.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive product strategies for complex manufactured product lines or strategic initiatives.
Lead the entire product lifecycle from R&D through mass production to end-of-life.
Conduct market research, competitive intelligence, and customer segmentation to identify opportunities.
Define detailed product roadmaps, multi-year release plans, and prioritize initiatives.
Drive product development with R&D, engineering, operations, and cross-functional teams.
Define and track KPIs to measure product success and present executive insights.
Develop go-to-market plans with marketing, sales, and distribution, including pricing strategies.
Mentor and guide Product Managers and engage with key customers and partners.
Coordinate needs between external clients and internal teams.
Assess financial strategies to maximize profitability and sustainable growth.
Review and respond to product feedback and opportunities.
Work with plant, R&D, and engineering to allocate resources for priority projects.
Ensure proper client and sales documentation and training for commercialization.
Develop pricing strategies and ensure alignment and communication.
Advocate for the product vision and progress.
Willingness to travel up to 35%.
