Carter Lumber Company is seeking an Inside Sales Rep in Ravenna, OH to be the face of the store, helping customers with product information, quotes, and transactions. You’ll become a trusted resource for customers stopping in, delivering friendly, sales-focused service.

You will also follow up on online quotes, qualify new leads, support Outside Sales Reps, and assist with inventory control. Salary plus commission with uncapped commissions makes this role rewarding.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or customer service

• Familiarity with building materials is helpful

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in-store with product information and project needs
• Provide advice and produce estimates for packages/projects
• Process sales transactions
• Follow up on online customer quotes and qualify new leads
• Support Outside Sales Reps as needed
• Assist in inventory control: cycle counts and resolving overages/shortages
