Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Entry level, but 1-2 years of steel or industrial sales preferred.
• Proficient in AS400, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent phone etiquette and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers through responsive, reliable service.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales and Inside Sales Manager to respond to quotes and fulfill orders accurately.
• Interpret customer material applications and relay internal needs using AS400 and Salesforce.
• Maintain updated and accurate customer data in the AS400 system.
• Support customer satisfaction through clear communication, inventory coordination, and timely delivery.
• Understand our division’s capabilities to make informed, quality-driven decisions.
• Effectively respond to urgent customer needs and changing priorities.
