Job summary

Builders FirstSource, America’s largest supplier of building materials, value-added components and building services to the professional market, seeks a motivated retail associate to deliver exceptional customer service and product guidance in a fast-paced environment.

You will assist customers with product selection, provide quotes for small packages, enter orders, and help coordinate timely deliveries, while maintaining a clean, organized sales floor and supporting workshops.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with six months sales-related experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to understand product pricing, discounts and estimating formulas.
• Proficient with MS Office and ERP systems.
• Able to work standing for long periods and lift up to 80 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist retail customers with product selection, pricing and inquiries.
• Provide material estimates and quotes for small orders.
• Enter orders and schedule deliveries.
• Support store housekeeping, inventory control and signage.
• Address simple customer complaints and escalate complex issues.
