Job summary

PSS Industrial Group is seeking an experienced sales professional to provide quotes, manage customer relationships, and coordinate orders in a fast-paced environment in Baytown, Texas. The role involves quotes, proposals, and coordination with the Outside Sales Team to ensure timely delivery of products.

Qualified candidates have 2+ years in B2B industrial sales, strong communication skills, and a valid driver’s license. Infor SXe experience is a plus and a self-motivated attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of B2B industrial sales experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record as required.
• Self motivated to enhance personal development and company performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Generates customer quotes and proposals based on customer’s requests via phone or email or in person.
• Provides counter sales support and assists customers with products and services as needed; follows up on quotes and proposals, negotiates as needed and closes transactions.
• Coordinates shipping, material information requirements for products and any other incidental involved in getting the right product to the customer at the right time.
• Enters orders in company’s ERP system based on established rules and practices.
• Maintains working business relationships with established and new customers.
• Works with Outside Sales Team and provides feedback and communication regarding accounts.
• (Small Branches) – Will assist as needed in the delivery of customer orders as well as pick up of materials.
