Job summary

Core & Main is seeking an Inside Sales Support professional to facilitate the sales process, manage customer orders and quotes, and upsell where appropriate. This role involves coordinating with outside sales, responding to inquiries, and ensuring timely shipment and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in inside sales, inventory sales experience, and strong computer skills. Associate degree preferred and forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate sales process through project management and order tracking.
• Prospect for new opportunities via outbound calls and emails.
• Provide pricing using pricing matrix to maintain margins.
• Procure and maintain inventory; monitor inventory turns.
• Ensure timely shipment and customer satisfaction.
• Assist at sales counter and handle inquiries.
• Estimate, take-off, and prepare proposals.
• Support warehouse for order pulling and receiving.
