Job summary

Core & Main seeks an Inside Sales Associate to facilitate the sales process and manage customer orders across multiple channels. You will support outside sales, provide pricing, and help drive add-on opportunities while maintaining strong product knowledge.

Responsibilities include handling inquiries, processing quotes, and assisting with warehouse tasks as needed. A background in industrial distribution or construction supply is preferred, with a focus on accurate, timely service.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience selling in an inside sales environment with success handling customers.
• Experience with inventory sales and order management.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with pricing and quoting processes.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the sales process and manage open sales orders; support customer service.
• Prospect new opportunities via outbound calls/emails.
• Provide pricing using pricing matrix and product directives to maintain margins.
• Procure and manage inventory; monitor inventory turns.
• Ensure on-time shipment and customer satisfaction.
• Assist at sales counter and handle inquiries when outside reps unavailable.
• Perform estimating, take-off, and proposal duties as needed.
• Support warehouse staff with order pulling and stocking.
