Job summary

AAR is seeking a Sales Coordinator based at our Corporate Headquarters in Wood Dale, IL, with planned relocation to the Merchandise Mart in Chicago in early 2027. You will support the sales staff, handle customer inquiries, and ensure timely information for orders and shipments.

Responsibilities include researching and resolving customer complaints, managing order backlogs and ship dates, and collaborating with Sales, Product Lines, QC, and Accounting to identify new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent from four-year university or technical school.
• Four years related experience and/or training may be acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Receive, research and answer customer complaints, coordinating with Sales, Product Lines, QC, Warehouse, and Accounting Department.
• Manage order backlog and ship dates.
• Receive, research and answer customer inquiries regarding sales orders, invoices, shipping data and paperwork, including daily inquiries through sales channels including online enquiries.
• Formulate and articulate new business opportunities identified from customer information.
• Resolve problems as they arise, including the promotion of any improvements to sales / order processing.
• Track measurement on inquiries and orders.
• Travel is required.
