Job summary

AAR Corp is seeking a Senior Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to senior leadership, including the Senior Vice President, Parts Supply. The role goes beyond calendars and travel, focusing on leverage, discretion, and maintaining top-level focus for leaders.

The position is based at the Corporate Headquarters in Wood Dale, IL, with a planned relocation to the Merchandise Mart in Chicago in early 2027.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting senior executives in fast-paced environments.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong team player who partners across departments and administrative teams.
• Excellent judgment to determine when to elevate, act independently, or decline requests.
• Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize the calendars of the senior leaders, ensuring priorities drive scheduling decisions.
• Anticipate needs, resolve conflicts proactively, and protect executive focus.
• Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external inquiries.
• Draft, review, and refine communications and presentations as needed.
