Job summary

World Electric, part of the Sonepar group, is hiring an Inside Sales Representative to support customers through order processing, quotes, and coordination with various branches. The role focuses on sales performance, gross margin, and customer satisfaction.

You will work with pricing, scheduling, and shipping to ensure smooth operations, while utilizing digital sales tools and collaborating with field sales and shipping teams. This full-time, on-site position offers family-friendly benefits.

Qualifications

• Two-year certificate/degree from college or technical school.
• Six months to two years related experience and/or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Read and interpret documents such as training instructions and manuals.
• Interface in a customer-responsive manner over the phone and in person.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders and coordinate service needs across the branch.
• Provide pricing, quotes, and track orders with other functions.
• Maintain customer satisfaction and assist with delivery scheduling.
• Prepare reports on sales activities and forecasting.
• Respond to customer inquiries and handle complaints with diplomacy.
• Collaborate with outside sales and shipping to ensure timely delivery.
