Capital Lumber in Oxnard, CA 93033 is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to contact current and potential customers by phone to grow prospects and sales. The role offers a pay range of $27 - $32 per hour DOE and is based at the Oxnard branch.

The position covers order entry, customer assistance at the counter, pricing and quotes from established price books, and coordination with yard personnel. A flexible, team-oriented environment is described with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or commensurate industry experience
• Ability to multi-task with multiple projects while maintaining quality
• Inspire, motivate and engage commitment of customers and team members

• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Receives and writes orders from customers over the phone with pricing, product and delivery info
• Assists walk-in customers with information or product
• Handles phone and in-person inquiries with pricing/quotes from price books
• Coordinates orders with yard personnel
• Assists customers with problems and communicates order status to Account Managers
• Participates in physical inventories and maintains product knowledge
• Follows supervisor instructions and adapts to changes during employment
