Job summary

Walters is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to profitably grow the company’s residential waste, recycling, and organics services within the service area. This hunter role requires an aggressive, determined personality and is not telemarketing.

Responsibilities include identifying leads, preparing quotes, managing the sales funnel, onboarding new customers, and collaborating with operations and marketing to meet company goals.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in a customer-facing role such as sales or customer service.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to input data accurately.

Responsibilities

• Sales Activity: identifying leads, preparing price quotations, managing the Sales Funnel, and handling inquiries.
• Pricing and Retention: analyze competitor pricing and identify sales opportunities.
• Customer Onboarding: input new starts into Tower, provide Welcome packet, schedule delivery, ensure smooth transition to Walters customer.
• Relationship Management: respond to emails/calls for residential new starts and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Collaboration with Other Departments: work with operations and marketing to align strategies and goals.
• Other duties as assigned.
