Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Inside Sales Rep in Texas to help grow branch revenue through equipment rentals and sales. You will build relationships with customers, process quotes and contracts, and coordinate equipment logistics while delivering exceptional service.

The role requires strong communication, sales experience, and the ability to understand complex equipment and projects. Safety and compliance are emphasized throughout daily operations.

Qualifications

• Customer service orientation and sales experience are essential.
• Strong communication (verbal and written) skills needed.
• Engineering aptitude to size, quote, install, and maintain large projects.

Responsibilities

• Establish rental and sales accounts through telemarketing and call-ins.
• Process quotations, reservations, contracts and invoices.
• Educate customers on equipment usage and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate contract information in the system.
• Coordinate daily equipment pickups and returns.
• Run reports to monitor equipment and support operations.
• Collaborate with branch staff to ensure customer satisfaction.
