Job summary

Douglas Dynamics seeks an Inside Sales Representative in Maine to build and maintain customer relationships by phone and email, process orders, and coordinate with logistics to ensure timely delivery. You will use ERP and CRM systems daily, track inquiries, and support distributor programs in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong communication, a proactive approach to problem solving, and the ability to work with multiple departments to resolve issues and fulfill orders.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and 1–3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• College degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with customers via telephone and email, following up on inquiries and directing to the correct department.
• Process orders via multiple channels (telephone, fax, e-commerce, email, mail) into ERP system.
• Maintain customer files and assist with freight scheduling to optimize costs.
• Track missing orders and resolve billing/shipping issues; document errors in CARMA database and generate RMAs as needed.
• Assist with mailings to distributors and other projects with minimal supervision.
