Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Rep at our Humble, TX branch to serve as a key customer contact and consultant, quoting, selling and fulfilling equipment and services based on customer needs.

You will build relationships, provide outstanding service, and help drive sales and branch growth by negotiating prices, processing quotes and orders, dispatching deliveries, and generating new business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
• Attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Process rental quotations, reservations and contracts.
• Establish new rental and sales accounts by serving walk-in and call-in customers.
• Negotiate prices on equipment rentals and contractor supplies per pricing policies.
• Dispatch delivery trucks and manage customer delivery expectations.
• Generate leads for new business and share with Outside Sales.
• Warm call on lost/dormant accounts to retain business.
• Maintain a clean showroom, well-stocked with merchandise.
• Perform other duties as needed.
