Job summary

Foundation Building Materials is seeking an Inside Sales professional in New Jersey who builds strong customer relationships through expert guidance and exceptional service. You’ll assist walk-in customers, quote projects, and keep accurate data in our systems.

You’ll manage orders, coordinate with outside sales, support showroom operations and logistics, and help drive profitable sales. A high school diploma and 2+ years inside sales experience are required; forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years inside sales experience (incoming call preferred).
• Excellent verbal communication skills and telephone manner.
• Ability to focus on different tasks and use time efficiently.
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional, courteous communication with customers before, during, and after sales.
• Provide knowledge on products and generate accurate quotes and proposals.
• Assist walk-in customers and handle inquiries or complaints promptly.
• Drive profitable sales through effective selling, upselling, and cross-selling.
• Enter orders, pricing, and customer data into systems accurately.
• Respond to orders and quote requests via multiple channels.
