Job summary

Remtec inc in Canton, MA is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to coordinate with internal and external customers on price, delivery, quality, and responsiveness. Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Manufacturing or PCB experience.
• Proficient in Excel and Office 365.
• Outstanding written and oral communications skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Knowledge of inside sales functions is a plus.
• PCB/ceramic substrate knowledge is preferred.
• Sales analytics experience is preferred.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiate quote process in internal quoting system and complete phase gate checklist.
• Enter Sales Orders and work with planning to meet requested lead times/ship dates.
• Transmit order acknowledgement to customer.
• Save all pertinent documentation in product files.
• Work with customer forecasts to provide production quantities and meet min/max inventory requirements.
• Maintain weekly forecast information.
• Submit changes for expedites, pushouts, cancels, and customer holds.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Quality to resolve delivery and quality issues.
• Communicate in a timely manner and arrange expedited shipping when needed.
• Support Sales with activity reports and contribute to sales forecasting.
