Job summary

Pentair is seeking an Inside Sales Manager in Coppell, TX to spearhead a newly formed Inside Sales team within the Pool business. You will drive strategy, coach reps, and collaborate with field sales, operations, marketing, and customer service to expand revenues and improve the customer experience.

The role demands at least 5 years of sales leadership, proven ability to scale inside sales with channel partners, and strong Salesforce CRM skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a sales leadership role managing inside sales teams.
• Experience scaling inside sales with both inside and outside teams.
• Deep expertise in multi-step sales environments with Channel Partners, Distribution, Dealers.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Salesforce experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or surpass sales quota for the Inside Sales team.
• Develop, implement, and lead a focused sales strategy for the Inside Sales team.
• Manage, coach, and develop Inside Sales Representatives.
• Collaborate with Sales Operations to define criteria for targeted accounts.
• Protect and grow the existing book of business by transfers to Inside Sales.
• Establish and manage lead management processes and workflows.
• Ensure fast response to sales leads generated by marketing and other channels.
• Collaborate with outside sales to define handoffs.
• Develop Sales and Marketing reports to monitor performance.
• Utilize Salesforce CRM to track activities and pipeline.
• Champion relationship building and technical competence.
• Develop and administer sales policies and practices.
• Collaborate on business strategy for smaller revenue accounts.
• Assist with field problems and distributor order processing.
