Job summary

Pentair is seeking an Inside Sales Manager to lead the newly created Inside Sales team within the Pool business. Based at our Phoenix, AZ location, you will drive revenue growth by managing dealers and channel partners, and by closely collaborating with Field Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing and Customer Service.

This role requires building scalable processes, defining engagement rules, and ensuring rapid response to inbound leads.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a sales leadership role managing inside sales teams.
• Experience scaling inside sales within organizations using both inside and outside sales.
• Deep expertise in multi-step sales with channel partners, distribution, and dealers.
• Proficient in Salesforce or similar CRM for pipeline management.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed inside sales quota.
• Lead development and execution of a focused inside sales strategy.
• Coach and develop Inside Sales Representatives to meet goals.
• Define and manage a targeted account list and engagement rules.
• Collaborate with Sales Operations to optimize lead qualification and handoffs.
• Ensure rapid response to inbound and outbound leads.
• Partner with outside sales to align roles and account transitions.
• Develop sales and marketing reports to track performance.
• Manage CRM usage to drive pipeline and results.
• Foster a culture of relationship-building and technical competence.
• Develop and administer sales policies to maximize market penetration.
• Support distributors with order processing and field issue resolution.
