Job summary

Timberline Manufacturing in Marion, IA is seeking an Inside Sales Manager to lead the Inside Sales team, drive quoting, and support OEM Commercial businesses. You will oversee about 5 team members, manage the quoting and ECN processes, and collaborate with Sales Directors to deliver accurate quotations.

This role requires 3–5 years of leadership in sales support, a high school diploma (and preferred associate or bachelor’s in business or technical field), experience with ERP and CRM tools

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of leadership experience in a sales support role.
• High School Diploma required; degree in business/technical field preferred.
• 3–5+ years in inside sales with high volume quoting experience.
• Experience with Build to Print Contract Manufacturing is a plus.
• Experience in electrical/wire harness or panel industry is preferred.
• Experience with ERP/CRM tools like Salesforce advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision for a team of ~5 Inside Sales members.
• Oversee quoting and ECN processes for the Commercial business.
• Assist sales in creating accurate quotes via research and admin tasks.
• Review and approve quotes per Delegation of Authority.
• Ensure quality, accurate quotations and manage price lists.
• Hire, train and manage Inside Sales team members.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and support Sales Director.
• Provide Sales Operations support to leadership.
• Additional duties as assigned.
