Job summary

Vertical Insure, Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Manager to lead the team that builds pipeline and closes business alongside Account Executives. This role reports to the VP of Sales and works in Minneapolis with a hybrid schedule (in-office Tuesdays and Thursdays).

Local candidates only. You will hire, coach and run a team of Inside Sales Representatives, pair them with CDRs and AEs, manage activity and pipeline, and drive forecast accuracy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in B2B sales, including 2+ years managing inside sales team.
• Proven track record hitting targets for meetings, pipeline and revenue.
• Experience supporting Account Executives in a pod or territory model.
• Strong coaching skills with actionable feedback.
• Data fluency with funnel reports and actionable insights.
• Hands-on CRM experience (Salesforce or HubSpot).
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Inside Sales team.
• Pair reps with CDRs and AEs across verticals; set handoff rules.
• Own outbound prospecting and inbound lead response strategies.
• Track funnel from lead to closed deal; forecast weekly.
• Maintain CRM data cleanliness and update playbooks.
