Job summary

Huyett in La Porte, TX is launching a dedicated call center to partner with our North American sales force, supporting existing account management and a Will Call desk. We seek an impassioned leader who can build teams and processes from scratch in a complex product space.

The ideal candidate will lead front-line managers, shape performance programs, and drive a culture focused on reliability and development.

Qualifications

• Sales or customer service management experience.
• Experience in leading multi-level teams.
• Experience in industrial distribution and power transmission segments preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Evidence of success in people management and achieving results.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct a two-level work team including Call Center, Customer Service Will-Call, and Key Accounts.
• Optimize time-to-quote and customer response times.
• Earn new business through call center relationship management and gentle prospecting.
• Develop data analysis/reporting tools to track performance and opportunities.
• Foster trust and credibility with internal and external customers.
