Job summary

Carriage Services is seeking an Assistant Sales Manager to support daily operations, mentor counselors, and help families plan cemetery and memorial services. This on-site role at Fairfax Memorial Park offers a high income with a base plus uncapped commissions and bonuses.

The position emphasizes leadership, inside sales production, and relationship building with the goal of advancing into Sales Management, with comprehensive training and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of successful sales experience (required).
• Leadership, coaching, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Funereal home, cemetery or related sales experience strongly desired.
• Proven inside sales production track record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Sales Manager in leading and managing sales team performance.
• Coach and support team members to achieve sales goals.
• Maintain consistent individual sales production to meet revenue targets.
• Reinforce training, ethics, and customer service standards.
• Develop and execute sales initiatives to energize the team.
• Generate sales leads through community events and relationships.
• Monitor results and communicate activity to the Sales Manager.
• Meet client families and present interment options; attend services when possible.
• Perform duties and assume duties of Sales Manager as needed.
