Job summary

EventWorks is seeking a Sales Representative for the Kansas City market. This role focuses on inside sales, delivering exceptional customer service, preparing quotes, and growing revenue through thoughtful product recommendations.

The ideal candidate will manage inbound inquiries, guide clients through event rentals, and maintain strong relationships with customers while supporting Account Executives and sales leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, events, or related field desired.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to learn a large and evolving inventory.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming sales calls and professional emails; greet first contact with customers.
• Guide clients through rental products, services, and options to upsell thoughtfully.
• Prepare quotes, contracts, and rental orders accurately and efficiently.
• Follow up on open quotes to convert opportunities into business.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and client communications throughout the process.
• Participate in networking events and showroom activities as needed.
