Job summary

Skidabrader, a Frontline Road Safety Group company, seeks an Inside Sales Specialist/Estimator to identify bids nationwide and prepare proposals for ghost striping, diamond grinding, and preservation projects. Based in Fort Worth, TX, this on-site role combines sales, account management, and estimating to drive new work.

You will review bids from municipalities, qualify opportunities, develop estimates, and support bid submissions while collaborating with Business Development Managers to expand

Qualifications

• Experience in inside sales or account management is preferred.
• Exposure to estimating in construction, preferably highway/road maintenance.
• Experience with job costing or bidding is a plus.
• Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with ability to manage bids and deadlines.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, identify, and review bids and solicitations from municipalities nationwide using BidX and ConstructConnect.
• Assess opportunities against service offerings, focusing on diamond grinding, surface prep, HFST, and ghost striping.
• Develop estimates, support job costing, and prepare proposals for core service lines.
• Build relationships with municipal and general-contractor accounts to capture design-build opportunities.
• Research and pursue work in key counties and regions to expand bid footprint.
• Support BD managers and maintain records of bids, proposals, estimates, and activity.
