Job summary

Skidabrader is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist/Estimator to drive bids and proposals for infrastructure preservation nationwide. The role combines inside sales, account management, and estimating, supporting municipal and general-contractor relationships from our Fort Worth, TX office.

You will review bids, assess terms, develop estimates, and prepare proposals across core services, collaborating with Business Development Managers to expand our bid footprint.

Qualifications

• Experience in inside sales and account management is preferred.
• Experience with estimating in construction/road maintenance is a plus.
• Familiarity with bid platforms and proposal development is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, identify, and review bids from municipalities nationwide using BidX and ConstructConnect.
• Assess opportunities against core services like diamond grinding, surface preparation, and HFST.
• Develop estimates and prepare proposals to enable bidding across highway/road maintenance lines.
• Build relationships with municipal, agency, and general-contractor accounts to capture opportunities.
• Research work in key counties/regions to expand bid footprint.
• Support BD managers and maintain bids, proposals, estimates, and account activity.
