Job summary

BlackRock Resources, LLC is seeking an Application - Inside Sales Engineer in Oakdale, PA. On-site role offering direct customer interaction, technical problem-solving, and hands-on exposure to pumps, motors, and equipment systems.

Responsibilities include generating quotations, reviewing drawings, coordinating projects, and maintaining supplier and customer relationships. Travel for project startups and visits is possible; CAD/SolidWorks exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or technical discipline preferred, but not required.
• 1–2 years of professional experience in an industrial environment is preferred.
• Strong organizational, documentation, written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Generate quotations for pumps, motors, parts, spares, and equipment systems based on customer requirements.
• Review drawings and specifications; help plan, schedule, coordinate, and execute projects.
• Communicate with prospects and customers to understand applications and technical needs.
• Take ownership of assigned work and ensure projects are completed accurately and on time.
• Coordinate information across departments, customers, and suppliers to minimize rework.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships and loyalty.
• Develop productive relationships with suppliers.
• Assist with project startups and customer visits, including occasional travel when required.
