Chromalox in Pittsburgh, PA seeks an Associate Technical Sales Engineer for the Electric Heat Trace Division. You will act as the liaison between customers and the organization, developing engineered solutions and technical proposals.

You will drive sales growth, quote effectively, ensure accurate orders, and collaborate with engineering and operations to deliver cost-efficient heat trace and control solutions while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering preferred; other degrees considered.
• Experience with Microsoft Office is a plus.
• Excellent written and spoken English; strong customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide premium, efficient, and profitable solutions; review price options and channels.
• Maintain proficiency in product lines, systems, and engineering principles.
• Drive sales growth and follow up on quotes with customers.
• Enter orders accurately while adhering to policy and lead times.
• Follow up on assigned sales leads; process material return requests.
• Deliver world-class customer service and collaborate across departments to resolve issues.
• Escalate business risks and verify customer purchase order requirements.
