Sunstate Equipment Co. is hiring an Inside Sales Representative in Buckeye, AZ. The role focuses on increasing revenue through new accounts and suggestive selling, while coordinating and delivering services to customers.

The position involves 80% office work and 20% yard activity, with potential cross-training as a Dispatcher. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with overtime eligibility and a weekly pay cycle.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a customer service role with logistics or coordination experience.
• 2+ years Inside sales (direct customer contact) experience preferred.
• Sales ability to identify customer needs via suggestive selling or upselling, and strong relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work with a team and independently with a can-do attitude.
• Knowledge of local geography, map reading, and GPS navigation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; active listening.
• Good problem-solving, organization, and time-management skills.
• Proficient with basic computer tasks and typing; CAD/AS 400 knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer and document all incoming calls to assist rental needs and inquiries.
• Process rental transactions: reservations, scheduling pickups, quotes, and driver orders.
• Assist walk-in customers and vendors in a courteous, professional manner.
• Help customers select equipment to ensure satisfaction and safety.
• Coordinate with yard and shop via radio for equipment needs and loading/unloading.
• Monitor billing by reviewing credit card rentals and contracts daily.
• Dispatch drivers/equipment to fulfill customer requests and meet schedules.
• Escalate equipment issues or delays to management for timely resolution.
