Job summary

Sunstate Equipment Co. in Fort Worth, TX seeks an Inside Sales Representative/Dispatcher to grow revenue, coordinate orders, and serve customers from the office and yard.

You will act as a liaison between customers, sales, dispatch, and management, handling rentals, inquiries, and basic equipment troubleshooting. The role requires at least 2 years in customer service, inside sales, and strong communication; Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years Customer Service experience.
• Minimum 2 years Inside sales experience.
• Strong communication and ability to upsell.
• Spanish is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and 21+ to drive company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Answer and document all incoming telephone calls to assist customers with rental needs.
• Perform all routine rental transactions including creating rental reservations and scheduling pickups.
• Assist walk-in customers, vendors, or applicants in a professional manner.
• Assist customers with selecting equipment for their job to ensure satisfaction and safety.
• Communicate via two-way radio with the yard and shop for loading/unloading and equipment needs.
• Review credit card rental files daily to ensure proper billing.
• Enter lost rentals, rate inquiries, and service calls into the counter logbook.
• Communicate leads to field sales personnel for follow-up.
• May load/unload and deliver equipment.
