Job summary

Sunstate Equipment in Scottsdale, AZ is hiring an Inside Sales Representative to grow revenue by building strong customer relationships, processing rental orders, and coordinating with dispatch and management.

The role combines office work with yard activities, requiring excellent communication and sales skills. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday (6am–5pm). Pay starts at $22 to $30 per hour with a quarterly performance bonus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years Customer Service experience.
• 2+ years Inside sales experience preferred.
• Sales ability identifying customer needs through suggestive selling.
• Strong relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable working with team and independently.
• Technologically capable: Microsoft Suite, CAD, AS 400 preferred.
• Excellent communication and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Answer and document incoming calls to assist customers with rental needs.
• Create rental reservations, schedule pickups, and generate quotes.
• Assist walk-in customers and vendors in a professional manner.
• Help customers select equipment for their job to ensure satisfaction and safety.
• Communicate with yard and shop to coordinate equipment needs.
• Review credit card rental files for billing accuracy.
• Log lost rentals, rate inquiries, and service calls.
• Monitor open contracts and credit card rentals for accuracy.
• Flag leads to field sales for follow-up.
• May load/unload and deliver equipment as needed.
• May work extended hours or on-call rotation.
