Job summary

Sunstate Equipment Co. is seeking an Inside Sales professional in Phoenix to boost revenue through new accounts, upselling, and strong client relationships. The role involves processing orders, coordinating deliveries, and supporting customers with equipment selection.

The position requires 2+ years in customer service and inside sales, excellent communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Suite; CAD/AS 400 experience is highly preferred. 7am–4pm, Mon–Fri, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
• Minimum 2 years of inside sales experience preferred.
• Proven sales ability with upselling and relationship building.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Detail-oriented with multitasking ability.
• Demeanor that is friendly and professional.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls to assist customers with rental needs and inquiries.
• Create rental reservations, quotes, and coordinate pickups.
• Assist walk-in customers, vendors, and applicants in a professional manner.
• Help customers select equipment and coordinate loading/unloading.
• Communicate with yard/shop via two-way radio to fulfill orders.
• Maintain accurate rental billing and logbook entries.
• Identify sales leads for field personnel and may deliver equipment.
