Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to handle product inquiries, take orders, and coordinate deliveries from a busy North Carolina/US-based office. The role supports outside sales and customer service functions as needed.

The position requires a high school diploma, proficiency with Word/Excel/Outlook, and familiarity with multi-line phone systems. Forklift experience is a plus in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/equivalent.
• Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with multi-line phone system preferred.
• Knowledge of concrete masonry is a plus.
• Some forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive customer phone calls; provide support to customers and contractors via phone and in person.
• Refer to product catalogs and specification guides to determine related product uses and applications.
• Work closely with outside sales representatives regarding sales promotions and initiatives which require phone contact and follow-up.
• Help customers with design ideas/problems; provides customer feedback to management.
• Coordinate delivery schedules with dispatch and maintains customer informed of such schedules.
• Retrieve information for credit department when needed.
